Timeless Tavern, originally Ward’s Brass Rail, is a restaurant, bar and inn in downtown Northville, New York. Located at the start of the Adirondack Northville-Placid Trail, this historic tavern and inn offers delicious traditional American cuisine, drinks, and six guestrooms above the restaurant.
Conveniently, located near the center of Main Street, the Timeless Tavern is within walking distance of the area's local shops, and attractions. You’ll find ample parking along Main street or in public parking lots located across the street and behind the restaurant. Finish off your evening in Northville’s Waterfront Park, located behind the Timeless Tavern. It boasts a beautiful waterfront view, pavilion, walking paths and is host to many of the village’s summer events!

CHef and Owners…
The Timeless Tavern is owned and operated by husband and wife, Tom and Lisa Wood. Lisa, a graduate of FMCC with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management is the executive chef. Her passion for culinary arts has been life long, and the Timeless Tavern gave Lisa her first professional experience when it was Ward’s Brass Rail. Her love of restaurant work and her love for that establishment led her, and her husband Tom, to purchase the restaurant that gave her her start years later.
Since 2004, Tom and Lisa have owned the Timeless Tavern. Renaming and recreating the inn and restaurant into a local institution for the past 20 years. They have crafted a place for locals and tourists to relax, celebrate, and enjoy delicious food in a comfortable and friendly space. Tom and Lisa are dedicated community members who work hard to make their guests feel welcomed. Their commitment to Northville, and the Sacandaga Lake community, is strong and can be felt in their generous atmosphere in the Timeless Tavern.
